Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius)
A plant species from the Asteraceae family, 50-100 cm tall, blooming yellow, cream, white, red, or orange flowers towards the end of summer (towards the end of June - beginning of July). It is also known by names such as wild saffron, parrot bait, painter's safflower, and haspir.

It was obtained from the seeds of safflower flowers by cold pressing method.
